The Trip
18 members of the Nottingham Trent University Canoe Club travelled to France and Austria in search of some of the best white water europe has to offer. And do you know what, they found it.
The first week was spent at a now regular haunt of ours; Embrum and the Petit Loui Campsite. The site is just the other site of the river Durance from Embrum and within easy walking distance of one of the greatest bars on earth! The Rockslide and Restaurant L'eau Vive have welcomed us with open arms and full glasses on every visit!
The second week of the trip was new ground, we headed to Landeck in the Austrian Tirol. The Campsite, Sport Camp Tirol was a far more compact and expensive site but of a high quality. The on location pizzaria had a menu with over 80 pizzas! Sport Camp Tirol nessels in the a the confluence of the river Sanna and River Inn. |
