Le Petite Loui Campsite
The campsite near Embrum has been our home for 5 weeks over the last three summers. Here are a few shots of the apres paddle
A typical early evening at camp, sat about, not doing a great deal. Exagerating about the days events and marking up the swimchart |
Bolton relaxing in the sun, and now the origin of the phrase: To do a Bolton, meaning to make every effort to make it look like you were trying to get on that wave while actually making sure you don't |
The weather was not its usual cloudless self for the week in France and we saw a couple of very heavy storms |
A drunken bet one evening resulted in the challenge to climb that.... |
...and this was the view from the top, where you can see the bathing lake, the lake the Durance flows into, the campsite and most importantly, the pub
Some people couldn't be arsed getting to the site to relax, for example Matt after getting off the Ubaye was feeling a little worn out |
And on the same day, at the get off to the Ubaye, Claude shows off his injury. A cut to his eyebrow and a bit of concusion |
